Will Smith And Joel Edgerton Hunt Down Elves In The First Teaser For David Ayer's BRIGHT
Watch as Will Smith, an LAPD officer, and Joel Edgerton, his Orc Partner, go on a quest to find one of the most powerful weapons in existence in this first 30-second teaser for David Ayer's Bright.
The first official trailer for Netflix's newest fantasy drama, Bright, features a glimpse into a world where orcs, fairies, elves, and magic all exist. However, it doesn't look like a world you would want to live in.
Directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad) and written by Max Landis (Chronicle), Bright focuses on Scott Ward (Will Smith), a human LAPD officer, and his partner Nick Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), the first orc to become an officer, as they search for a wand, the most powerful and illegal weapon one could have in the world of Bright.
The film also stars Noomi Rapace (Prometheus), Lucy Fry (11.22.63), Edgar Ramirez (Wrath of the Titans), and Ike Barinholtz (Suicide Squad).
Bright will be available to stream on Netflix this December.
Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been co-existing since the beginning of time. Bright is genre-bending action movie that follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward (Will Smith) and Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), embark on a routine patrol night and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.
