SUPERNATURAL: Bobby Singer Returns In New Photos From Season 13, Episode 14: "Good Intentions"

With Supernatural set to return next Thursday, The CW has released seventeen new promotional stills from the hour, featuring a first look at Bobby Singer lending a helping hand to Mary and Jack!

Supernatural finally returns next week and it looks like we're in for quite the episode as we spend some time in the apocalyptic world where Jack (Alexander) and Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) still find themselves trapped. Luckily, they'll get a timely assist from a returning Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver), who looks to be leading the resistance.

Meanwhile, back in the regular monster-filled world, Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), and Castiel (Misha Collins) continue to search for a way to open a breach and in the process, discover Asmodeus' mindcontrolled mole.

JIM BEAVER GUEST STARS AS BOBBY SINGER - Jack (Alexander Calvert) and Mary (guest star Samantha Smith) manage to escape Michael's (guest star Christian Keyes) clutches and end up finding an ally in "apocalyptic world" Bobby Singer (guest star Jim Beaver). Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) continue to search for a way to open a breach, not realizing that one of their own may be working against them and costing them precious time. PJ Pesce directed the episode written by Meredith Glynn (#1314). Original airdate 3/1/2018.

The exciting journey of the Winchester brothers continues as SUPERNATURAL enters its thirteenth season. Still love the show, but it was better with Crowley and without Mary....

Will be nice to see Bobby back, even if it is for 1 episode.

So, I haven't watched this show past Season Five, but didn't Castiel die last season? I thought I heard something about that. And now he's already back?

I get that killing and resurrecting characters is kind of Supernatural's thing, but is there any tension any more, now that the main characters die and come back with ease? Out of the five seasons I've watched, four of them ended with either Sam or Dean's death, and none of them ended up sticking. Surely that gets boring after a while.
