SUPERNATURAL: The Winchester Brothers Get Ready For One Last Ride On The Official Final Season Poster

To celebrated Supernatural Day, The CW has released the official poster for the upcoming fifteenth and final season of the hit series, which stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins.

The upcoming fifteenth and final season of Supernatural will find Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) at the lowest of lows after they've realized that their old pal God (Rob Benedict) may not be as benevolent as they had initially been led to believe.

Having sworn him off in last season's finale, the brothers were left to fight off a swarm of enemies they had taken down over the course of the past two decades and things were certainly not looking good last we saw them. Ackles tells Entertainment Weekly, “We start right back up in season 15, and it is a bit of a triage situation. They gotta get out of there, they gotta find some shelter, and they gotta figure out what to do.

As for what they're going to do about their God problem, well, that's yet-to-be-determined. Collins says, "This is, as far as we know, the most powerful being in the universe, and he’s against us.” while Padalecki adds, “But we’re also struggling with: Is Chuck evil, or is he just trying to objectively write a story that’s exciting which controls our lives?”

With the gates of hell now officially open for business, the Winchesters will have their hands full throughout the course of these next twenty episodes as the prepare to end their hunt and it sounds like we'll be seeing a number of familiar faces along the way. "There’s specific characters that we’ve dealt with in the past that will reprise their role. That doesn’t necessarily mean that everybody’s walking out though. Even though the doors are unlocked and people are walking out of hell, not everybody is quite as eager to jump ship. That begs a question of ‘why’ and it begs a question of ‘when will they?'

The exciting journey of the Winchester brothers continues as SUPERNATURAL enters its thirteenth season. Sam and Dean have encountered every kind of supernatural threat, facing down monsters, demons, and gods. Saving people, hunting things, and keeping the world safe. In the show’s twelfth season, the Winchesters were reunited with their long-dead mother and joined forces with the British arm of the Men of Letters. But things turned from bad to worse, with the return of Lucifer and the surprising revelation that the Devil is expecting a child. Now, Sam and Dean find themselves facing a creature of almost unimaginable power… one that could save the world… or destroy it.

Supernatural features:
Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester
Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester
Misha Collins as Castiel
Samantha Smith as Mary Winchester
