At least that motorcycle wipe out description in the second tweet seems to confirm he won’t only be venom at the end. Happy to hear that :)

The story seems to be incredibly cliche. The good ol' "hero vs crazy scientist" that Sony has been doing ever since 2002. The visuals are not that bad, but everyone is saying he won't look like that for longer than 20 minutes in the film so who gives a [frick]. It's still pretty terrible.

Perhaps. I personally am not sold but Venom's look is pretty great. Story and tone seem just as boring and all over the place as the first trailer.

After watching 6-7 Video Reactions from all the usual sites. I’d say Venom scores really well. Especially with the female audiences (they do love Mr. Hardy)

The only one I watched that was disappointed was from a fan who was sad that the Venom Movie wouldn’t be a exact re-telling of the Classic Venom/Pedro Story.

Whatever though.

I didn't hate how Venom looked in Spider-Man 3. Everyone's making fun of it now but it doesn't look that much worse than what we have now. The only difference is the teeth are smaller and the costume is less sleek.

@Nightwing1015 - Exactly. In fact, get rid of the web pattern and it’s a far more accurate look. They nailed the eyes, and the way the mouth is formed is purely classic Venom.

This new one, with the rows of teeth and squinted eyes, it just looks like a generic alien.

@Super12 - oh yeah I'm on board too. This movie is gonna be off the chain. Tom hardy is good at playing the crazy. I really think spidey will be in it one way or another!!! I hope they don't show him before the release though!

@Titan417 - Well, slow down. Don't expect Spidey to be in it. Disney will wait to see how its received before seeing if they want to merge Venom into the Spiderman-Sony-MCU joint custody arrangement. Still, even if this is apart from the MCU it looks good. Love the multiple personalities/schizo angle Tom Hardy's seems to be taking.
