It sounds like the soundtrack album for Sony Pictures' Venom is going to be packing some major heat as Eminem has essentially confirmed, via Twitter, that he will indeed feature on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for the Tom Hardy-starrer.

Further details for the upcoming album are unavailable at this point, but the 15x Grammy winner and Academy Award-winner did share a brief 15-second snippet previewing his new track. It opens with the chorus chanting "Venom" before Eminem viciously raps, "Knock knock, let the devil in." Cue a monstrous roar and fade to black.

One of Marvel's most enigmatic, complex and badass characters comes to the big screen, starring Academy Award® nominated actor Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom.

Venom features:
Director: Ruben Fleischer
Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom
Michelle Williams as Anne Weying
Riz Ahmed as Carlton Drake/Riot
Scott Haze in an undisclosed role
Reid Scott in an undisclosed role
Jenny Slate in an undisclosed role
Woody Harrelson in an undisclosed role

Venom unleashes in theaters October 5

How exciting.

@ThaIllest89 - Eminem is one of the greatest rappers of all time if you can admit that then you're wrong but if you're referring to it being an original song for a superhero movie then I have to agree with you.

@RocknRolla - All I said was "How Exciting".

Em is one of the greatest, but his greatest days are well behind him. Em is an MC I don't check for as much these days, and he's paired with a movie that is the exact opposite of "interesting" to me.

@ThaIllest89 - I find it hard to call his greatest days behind him. Anyone should be able to see his rapping skills are vastly superior today than they were before. In his early days he was more about lyrics for shock value and the like rather than really trying to pull out these complex multi-syllabic lines. They were there, but they were never the forefront of his music.

Listen to anything from Recovery to Revival, and his rapping style is so much more intricate and complex. I think with Eminem his key will be finding something new to talk about that doesn't feel forced. His political tracks always feel forced, even Mosh did back in 2004.

@TheNightmareVirus - No they're not. He's been making some of his worst shit post Recovery. Shit, even longer than that. His flow is awful.

@TexasAvenger - He tries so hard to make even the most disparate words rhyme or connect that it really ruins his flow and makes songs sound like complete gibberish.

@Webfooter - Exactly. I'm so happy you said that. His choppy flow and shouty delivery are god awful and such a chore to listen to. The dude has lost it.

@TexasAvenger - Yeah, okay there, buddy. Let this shut you hating ass muthafu.ckas up. "Eminem's flow is awful." Are you stupid? LOL As soon as Em made that Trump diss, people started saying how shit his flow was. I guess his criticisms hit too close to home for some.

@ThaIllest89 - Well, It's either that or Kendrick Lamar?

@JohnnyAssCheeks - I liked his flow on the Trump freestyle much better than the flow he uses on his music currently. It was much more reserved and had purpose rather than just spitting fast and yelling like he usually does now.

@RocknRolla - one of the greatest rappers of all time is like saying one of the best reality tv shows of all time, or best mullets of all time. Is it really a title to be proud of?

When will rap end, Ive been so patient these past 20 years or so... 🙁

Want us to be excited about Venom? Put Spider-Man in it. This is like making a Reverse Flash movie and acting like Flash doesn't exist.
