Venom is rapidly approaching and some new details about the movie are finding their way online as a result. Firstly, we have another featurette for the Marvel Comics adaptation which shows off a few seconds of Venom doing battle with Riot and the latter is definitely utilising some tricks most closely associated with Carnage. Could it be that Riot bonds with Cletus Kasady to become the iconic villain?
Time will tell but what's even more interesting are the details about how the Symbiotes come to Earth in the first place. Apparently, the Life Foundation has sent a space probe out to search for, well, life and that comes across a comet which is covered in the aliens. They're then collected and brought to our planet and it turns out that they've been searching for years to find somewhere with suitable hosts.
It's actually been reported on numerous occasions that Venom is partly based on the "Planet of the Symbiotes" comic book storyline so the inspiration here is clear to see. Check out the videos below and be sure to share your thoughts about these big new reveals in the comments section down below.
