The latest trailer for Venom was better received that the first two (mostly because we actually got a proper look at the symbiote in action) but there were still a lot of complaints about the dialogue. Some cringed at the mention of Eddie Brock chowing down on a pancreas, while others were gobsmacked by the mention of a limbless thug blowing down the street like what he called, well, "turd" in the wind.

However, it's now been pointed out that the remarks Venom made around halfway through - "Eyes! Lungs! Pancreas! So many snacks, to little time...!" - has actually been lifted straight from the comic books. You can see the panel below but for those of you unaware of where that comes from, it's The Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 1) #374 by the stellar creative team of David Michelinie and Mark Bagley.

Does this change how you guys feel about the Venom trailer or do lines like this not work in live-action? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this news in the comments section down below.
