Tom Hardy Confirms That A New VENOM Trailer Will Be Shown At Sony's CinemaCon Panel
The first trailer for Venom was slated by fans for essentially being Tom Hardy: The Movie but the actor has now confirmed that a new look at the movie is on the way for those heading to CinemaCon...
The first trailer for Venom wasn't met with a particularly positive response. While it may have only been a teaser, there was no sign of the symbiote and fans tore into the footage for making the Spider-Man spinoff look like a bland, generic action movie. Well, it could be about to redeem itself as Tom Hardy has taken to Instagram to reveal he's heading to CinemaCon and taking a new trailer with him.
What we don't know is whether or not this footage will be shown exclusively to those in Las Vegas or if we should expect it to be released online shortly after premiering. It does feel a little too early for us to get another trailer for Venom but it's clearly good to go and Sony needs to win fans over after that underwhelming initial sneak peek. The question is, will we finally get to see the symbiote in action?
It would be mind-boggling for the trailer to not include that but this is Sony we're talking about, so who knows! Even if it isn't released online, we can surely expect some descriptions of the footage to surface so be sure to stay tuned to CBM during Sony's panel tomorrow evening for further details on Venom.
