Sony's Venom movie has already wrapped production, but we're just now hearing about an intriguing cast addition. Sope Aluko, who has a small role in Marvel's Black Panther, has landed an undisclosed role.

According to Deadline, Nigerian-born actress Sope Aluko has secured an undisclosed role in Sony Pictures' upcoming Venom movie.

Aluko has appeared in the likes of Pitch Perfect 2, Bloodline and Identity Thief; and most recently had a small role in Marvel's Black Panther as one of the guardians of the heart-shaped herbs, Shaman.

The trade makes no mention of which character she'll be playing in the Spider-Man spin-off, but it'll most likely be a minor supporting part.

Venom is directed by Ruben Fleischer and starring also stars Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, and Tom Hardy as the titular Marvel villain/antihero.

The movie is set to hit theaters on October 5.
