Sony has released some new TV spots for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, revealing even more never before seen footage from the sequel, including the symbiote dropping the mic and getting down with the kids.

There are less than 7 days before Venom: Let There Be Carnage is unleashed on North America, and the Sony Pictures Canada YouTube account just dropped a whole host of TV spots on their channel.

Most are made up of familiar footage, but we've singled a few out that highlight some fun moments with the symbiote. As you can see, he finds himself in the midst of a party and appears to be enjoying his newfound fame...and glow sticks! The anti-hero even drops the mic at one point, and it's fair to say we never expected Venom to look like this in Andy Serkis' Marvel Comics adaptation.

One thing you might notice is that Sony seems to be doubling down on those Twitter reactions from fans who attended an early screening in London a couple of weeks ago. It's strange to see fan reactions used to market a blockbuster like Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and so far, there have been no social reactions from critics (only one Tweet from Sony Pictures UK offers an idea of what to expect).

The review embargo lifts at 6am PT next Thursday, September 30, so there's not too much time left until we get a better idea of what to expect from the Venom sequel.

Check out these new Venom: Let There Be Carnage TV spots below:

"Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel's greatest and most complex characters," reads a brief synopsis that was released on the movie's website (where you can now purchase tickets for the movie). "Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage."

As noted, Venom: Let There Be Carnage stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, and Woody Harrelson. It's set to be released in theaters on October 1, 2021.

@regularmovieguy - I saw it a few weeks ago. Despite those fan reactions, I'm still under embargo. 🤐 However, I'd go take a look at that Sony UK Tweet I linked to for an indication of how I felt (remember, I hated the first one). 😉

I remember your review of Birds of Prey stating it was better than Deadpool, and then on your Justice League review you saying that Birds of Prey failed to capture Deadpool's magic.

@JoshWilding - I love when you're reviewing all Disney movies like it's a Second Coming and include fancy words like "diversity" in probably every article. I'm just unable to believe in any word you're saying, and I'm 100% sure this site is either paid by Disney or you're looking for some benefits by praising them. It's impossible to say "Venom" was bad movie and saying something like "Shang Chi" or "Loki" is a masterpiece. Anyone with a brains just can't agree with that objectively.

It's BAFFLING how outdated these movies are on every level. Everything about them feels like it was dreamt up by a bunch of old farts in a boardroom wondering "How can we get the youths in theaters nowadays?"

@MUTO123 - yeah but there's a bunch of "current" product available on the metaphorical shelves, there's a place for Hardy Venom's goofy ass in my opinion.

I don't have *that* big of a problem with them turning the Venom franchise into a comedy franchise (the idea makes some sense when thought of broadly) but they've really somehow managed to make the worst version of that concept.

It's the most 'remember that shit you thought was funny AND edgy in 10th grade?' movie franchise of all time except it's specifically targeting the people who were in the 10th grade ~15 years ago
