Hasbro and Marvel Games announced a new line of Marvel Gamerverse Legends 6" figures inspired by Crystal Dynamics' upcoming action-adventure game
Marvel's Avengers.
The figures will arrive in Spring 2020, probably around the time the game launches. The first figure to be revealed is Iron Man, though Hasbro likely has plans to create a figure for each of the playable characters in the game. So far Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, and Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) have been revealed as the only playable characters, but the roster will also expand through post-launch DLC.
The Marvel Gamerverse is how the company refers to products inspired by the various Marvel video games. Hasbro's Gamerverse Legends line also includes characters from
Marvel's Spider-Man.
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. Marvel's Avengers is set to launch on May 15, 2020.
