J.J. Abrams Developing HALF-LIFE And PORTAL Movies

J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot and video game company Valve Software will work together to bring Half-Life and Portal to the big screen. Video game adaptations look to be all the rage at the moment and could finally be getting their due in Hollywood.

Don't worry he won't be directing, he'll be busy with other things....probably. But his production company Bad Robot will be teaming with Valve Software to adapt some of each others properties for video games and films. BR will help Valve make movies and Valve will help BR make video games. "We sort of reached the point where we decided that we needed to do more than talk,"said Gabe Newell of Valve.
