I think Joel's definitely going to die in this one if he isn't already dead. I'm so pumped for this I still play the online multiplayer mode

Not the best game I've ever played, but quite possibly my favorite. I'd like a bit more of a sandbox feel to the sequel though.

@RorMachine - what's the best game you've played and by sandbox feel what do you mean? I guess when I say best game I've played I just mean story wise. I don't think I've ever been as emotionally attached to a game before. Maybe spec ops or heavy rain compares

@RorMachine - I hope not, opening games up to the sandbox model takes away from the narrative because there is less sense of urgency. Plus these big publishers have been trying to kill the single player linear game genre for years in favor of open world and multiplayer, don't help them succeed.

@MyCoolYoung - It's the most emotionally attached I've ever been playing a game, but I still rank Skyrim above it for the sheer scale and immersive open world gameplay.

@LongMayHeReign - I don't mean fully open world, I just enjoy exploring the environments a bit more. Maybe a few side quests etc. The main story could still move along at the same pace.

@RorMachine - Just don't think this game lends itself well to having side missions like I think you want. Naughty Dog hasn't had a side mission in any of their recent games (Uncharted 1-4, Last of Us), they pretty much make playable movies to be honest so I doubt there will be any side missions.

But they may give us a giant open area to explore like they did in Uncharted 4.

'Last of Us' is a near-masterpiece. Never have I played, read or watched something where it became an emotional experience.

This, however, looks relentlessly grim and grisly. I hope they don't go down a grimdark for the sake of grimdark approach. Less is more.

@GothamSon - would you consider any game a masterpiece?

@MyCoolYoung - I don't think I'd have the heart to refuse her high five, but this is what it looks like when you do:

@MasterMix - I definitely refused the high five lol I thought it went more with the story as it built up

I heard you get a dog in this one. I hope ND knows I will kill anybody and everything to protect my doggy.
