The games are so good on their own, not sure why this needs to be a movie.

@imnotwearinghockeypants - If it is done well, it's nice of them to share the experience with those of us that haven't had the pleasure to play them.

Pants look a bit weird, but aside from that he has the look nailed down. I just think it's gonna be weird to see Holland go guns blazing

So much for he's supposed to be young Nathan Drake.

Yeaah they probably should've just had him played by a grown up tbh.

Although that being said he does look just darling in his widdle outfit!

I'm assuming this is in-universe like the Assassin's Creed movie. Which unfortunately means no Elena, but maybe we could see some Chloe.

Nice Halloween costume.

Can he grow 5 o’clock shadow? It’d help dispel the idea that he’s child...

After looking it up... no, not really.

He looks good. I dont understand what the potshots are for. This is a great translation of the in game look.

If this ends up being good, the Uncharted film series will become the Indiana Jones of this generation moving forward.

Tom will grow with the role and we will eventually have the "grown-up" version of Nathan Drake all you babies are crying for.

I'm more than ok with this.

@SKetCH - lots of actors never get big and/or remain baby faced... he could easily be a joseph gordon levitt type and look young and scrawny for another decade or two.

@SKetCH - @SKetCH - Just checked Holland's age and he is 24, when would he be supposed to look like a "grown up", he is going to look like this until he gets some gray hair (if he doesn't dye it) and a few wirnkles (if he doesn't botox them).

@SethBullock - @ReverseFlasher -

I see a lot of complaints about Holland's baby face, but that's not what I was referring to. I would be inclined to agree he's not going to grow out of his youthful image.

I see even more complaints that the CHARACTER of Nathan Drake is being portrayed as his younger version, rather than a full-fledged, height of his career treasure hunter and THAT is what I was referring to.

Nathan was cast young so the actor could grow in the ROLE; the same way Marvel looks for actors on the younger side for prominent roles so that they can eventually grow into the character we know from decades of character development.

I have little hope with sonys new studio shill ruben fleischer at the helm... venom was pretty bad, as was zombieland 2.

Looks good, don't really know how this will be but I always like to hope for the best! Happy that mainstream audiences will get to meet Nathan Drake and Sully (hopefully Wahlberg pulls it off) because it's a shame that my entire family won't give the Uncharted series a chance because it's a video game, even though the cutscenes are available on youtube! :(
