The Blackbird has landed in Foxnext Games' MARVEL Strike Force. An update this week prepares the mobile role-playing game for three new X-Men characters.

Available in-game right now is the telekinetic mutant, Psylocke. The X-Assassin wields an arsenal of psychic powers including telekinetic blasts and illusions. An agile brawler, Psylocke can turn ally debuffs against enemies and also nullify enemy buffs. When allied with fellow X-Men characters, Psylocke empowers her teammates with psychic energy, granting evade and counter when their health fall below 50 percent.

Colossus is also coming soon to MARVEL Strike Force. The Russian steely strongman acts as a defensive force for his team, stacking buffs and increasing ally defenses, while also specializing in hand-to-hand combat with his superhuman strength, stamina, and durability.

Notable among the three new arrivals is Dark Phoenix, who is headlining the upcoming X-Men film (the last from Fox). Dark Phoenix isn't actually in the game yet, but will be added "soon," presumably when the movie hits theaters next month.

Players actually being their battle in MARVEL Strike Force as Phoenix, but can rise as Dark Phoenix once their health hits zero. As Dark Phoenix, players can steal health from enemies and incinerate anything that stands against their squad.

Psylocke is available right now in MARVEL Strike Force, and will be followed by Colossus. Dark Phoenix will arrive last. The upcoming Dark Phoenix movie is slated to hit theaters on June 7, so it's possible she could be released around then.
