WONDER WOMAN Steals A "God Killer" Sword In New Official Still
We're finally getting some definitive plot details on the DCEU's Wonder Woman film as a new still in EW shows the Amazon princess stealing a "god killer" sword. Is she out to take down Ares?
In the image below, director Patty Jenkins confirms that this is the moment right before Diana leaves the mythical island of Themyscira for the world of "man." But before she leaves, she breaks into the Amazon's armory and steals a sword the Amazon's call "the god killer". Whose blood do you think the sword has spilled during ancient times? Ares? Zeus? Or maybe even Darkseid?
With rumors persisting that Darkseid and his Apokolips forces visited Earth once before and were turned back by the combined might of the Amazons, the Atlanteans and man, perhaps this sword dealt a mortal blow to the wielder of the Omega Beams?
Wonder Woman arrives in theaters on June 2, 2017.
