If Patty wants a break, give it to her, don't rush her, let her do another movie then she can come back.

Sure, make another movie in between, just don’t take too long. This is where a new Justice League movie or a cameo in a new Superman movie would come in handy, to keep Wonder Woman in the public consciousness. The benefits of a shared universe.

For villains, im hoping for
Circe and Giganta.
If they do a fourth film, Id say
Veronica Cale and Silver Swan

@dracula - Peter Dinklage as Doctor Psycho, give him a CBM role he can really sink his teeth into, he was wasted as Bolivar Trask and Etri.

Judging how reactionary wb is if the sequel verifies the mixed test screenings patty might not return.

And before certain users here try to tell me test screenings dont count let me give you some examples.

The Russos were rehired before tws even premiered because the movie had the best test screenings any mcu movie had. The only other movie to even come close was Civil War. Marvel moved the review embargo for CW one week earlier due to the strong test screenings.

Green lantern, bvs,mos, ss and jl all had mixed to negative test screenings. Every single one had a similar critic response thay aligned with SAID screenings.

I speak with facts unlike a lot of users here.

@Jeight8

How were WW84’s test screenings compared to Captain Marvel’s? That would be a good gage
IronGenesis
IronGenesis - 12/10/2019, 5:57 AM
@regularmovieguy - guess would be WW and WW84 will follow a near identical path as GOTG and GOTG2 did.

First films were critically reviewed better, sequels the directors got more control and while they were critically less than original, made more money based on popularity.

Jeight8 - 12/10/2019, 5:58 AM
@regularmovieguy - how would that be a good gauge? The difference in goodwill and brand power is conaiderable.

There were no reports for cm test screenings because mcus test screenings are different than most other movies and they rarely leak.

So far almost all dceu test screenings results have leaked.

@Jeight8

So we could assume CM didn’t have great test screenings is what you’re telling me
Jeight8
Jeight8 - 12/10/2019, 6:03 AM
@regularmovieguy - no, thats probably what you want to make out of it.

Infinity war test screenings results disnt leak either.

You mean to tell me that had mixed results as well?

Is it a coincidence that every dc movie that had mixed results has had mixed to negative reception?

Birds of prey has reportedly pretty good screenings. Im 90% the critical reception will be very positive.

@Jeight8

I just think test screenings leak when Marvel wants them to leak is what I'm saying. That makes sense.

And no I'm sure IW had great test screenings.

@IronGenesis - except gotg vol 2 never had mixed test screenings. It had pretty good ones.

Some of you seem hellbent on trying to spin this as hard as you can and bring the mcu into this despite the track records of both companies couldnt be more different.
Jeight8
Jeight8 - 12/10/2019, 6:08 AM
@regularmovieguy - that doesnt make any sense. The majority of the mcu movies have gotten good to great revjews and only a handful have leaked.

Why wouldnt marvel "leak" all of them to generate early buzz?

Results dont leak when studios want them to my friend. If that was the case we would have never gotten word of bvs or ss bad test screenings.

I just want to see Diana vs Giganta at some point

Repian

@BlackBeltJones - She has to be a daughter of Gea, interested in exploring the world of mortals. Unlike Diana, she wreaks havoc.

A Greek mythological origin is appropriate for the character.

Anything less than a billion, would be a huge disappointment. The critical response, will likely be tied to how strong the humor is.

99OPTIMISTPRIME - 12/10/2019, 5:02 AM
@BountyCipher - True. But from a milestone standpoint, the sequel to Wonder Woman, should be able to join the billion dollar superhero club.
