Fans have already seen Gal Gadot and Chris Pine in full 80s garb thanks to set photos and official images from Wonder Woman 1984, and now we’ve finally received our first look at Kristen Wiig as the villainous Cheetah.

This image comes courtesy of Patty Jenkins herself, who took to Twitter to share the photo. It doesn’t reveal how Wiig will look after her transformation into the feline villain, but we do get a better grasp of the character's civilian guise of Barbra Minerva.

While we can clearly see a lot of what appear to be stuffed animals, it's difficult to tell what building Wiig's Minerva is standing in - though the room itself is almost certainly a nod to her lethal alter ego.

Check out the intruiging new photo below:

@JohnnyTBP

The prosthetics are going to look good, too.

“Academy award winning prosthetics artist David Malinowski (Darkest Hour, The Revenant) has joined Wonder Woman 1984. #WW84”

I don't mind this casting. She showed great dramatic/comedic chops in The Skeleton Twins and Welcome to Me. Both equally good films, but they balance drama and comedy well, and Wiig is a big part of that.

@L0RDbuckethead - I'm less worried about her dramatic chops. Wiig has got that covered, I think. I'm more worried about her having the physicality for the role.

@MrDandy - I see. That could be something worth noting, as I hadn't even considered that. I don't think she's ever been in a physical role such as this one.

Please don't be a nerdy wimp who turns into a supervillain. Yawn to that.

@BackwardGalaxy - Look at her costume design with the clothes, hair, and glasses. That's exactly where they are going. Hopefully they just do it well.

@BackwardGalaxy - Isn’t she like an anthropologist or something? Too late for that.

@BackwardGalaxy - I'm afraid that's where they're going. Basically looks like a rehash of the Selina Kyle to Cheetah arc we saw in Batman Returns.

@RamonSuarez - The thing is though Returns was the deviation from the character

@MarvelDCAllDay - Love Burton's Batman films, but they were hardily comic accurate.

@BackwardGalaxy - Not necessarily yet - if they make her self serving and completely neurotic who will do anything to get what she wants. Then the clothes don't matter.
