WONDER WOMAN 1984 Motion Poster Begins The 84 Day Countdown To The Sequel's Release

Well, we're hoping it will be released as planned, of course! Regardless, Warner Bros. has dropped a very cool motion poster counting down the days until Wonder Woman 1984 arrives in theaters this June...

Earlier today, another movie was removed from the global release schedule when The Secret Garden was pushed from April to August, and the next major release heading to theaters is now Black Widow on May 1st (assuming that also doesn't wind up getting pushed back by a number of months).

The hope is that things will slowly start returning to normal by the summer, but the Coronavirus has left everything up in the air, and there's a lot of uncertainty about what will happen with theaters.

As of right now, Wonder Woman 1984 is still set to be released on June 5th, and we have a very cool motion poster to prove it! Counting down the days (84 of them, to be precise) until the sequel is released, this offers a detailed look at Gal Gadot's Diana Prince in her Golden Eagle armour.

That's clearly going to factor into the marketing campaign in a big way over the coming weeks, but depending on whether the spread of the Coronavirus is halted or gets considerably worse, theaters could start closing, and Wonder Woman 1984 would possibly be pushed back as a result. It's far too soon to say, though, and it's clearly business as usual for Warner Bros. until they hear otherwise.

Check out this new countdown motion poster for the movie in the Tweet below:
