Wonder Woman 1984 hits HBO Max on Christmas Day, but arrives in theaters the same day (meaning you'll have the option of a big screen at home or an even bigger one in your local theater).

In the UK and other international territories, it arrives in cinemas on December 16th, so the next few weeks are undoubtedly going to be dominated by the movie. That's not a bad thing, of course, especially as comic book adaptations have been few and far between in what's been a truly crazy year.

Over the weekend, we brought you the first reactions for Patty Jenkins' DC Comics sequel, but we know have our own to share with you. We'll be able to share our review with you on the 15th, but this might go some way in tiding you over in the meantime:

So, yeah, we'll have lots more to tell you soon! For now, though, another poster has been released for Wonder Woman 1984 which puts the spotlight on a battle damaged Diana Prince (Gal Gadot).

Check that out below:

@tmp3 - You watch Mank yet?

I thought it was a beautiful movie, technically speaking. Not my favorite of Fincer's movies, but it has my respect

@DannRamm113 - After finals week, haha

I know it's hard to top the first one, but I trust in Patty.

Honestly with the superhero dry spell lately, I don't think it even needs to be as good as the first one for me to love it. (And I would classify the first as just "mostly pretty good".)

Especially if it's a little cheesy and schmaltzy, because I could use some cheese and schmaltz.

I love the use of green in these posters. It's a color that's not typically used for action/superhero films not titled The Matrix. (Ragnarok had some which was cool)

I'm excited to get to watch this. It'll give this year a little bit of completion, in terms of my film list (IDK if it'll reach my top 10, but it very well could, some movies there IMO really pushing the relaxed competition this year)

@tmp3 - I think it's hilarious I went to your post to see if you watched Mank and you did for sound of metal lmao....

I haven't, I will try this week, I like Riz Ahmed

@DannRamm113 - A top 10? I think I'm already gonna have a hard time thinking of 10 movies I've seen in total this year.

@DannRamm113 - Haha, yeah that's pretty funny. Riz is so under-rated, I hope the one-two punch of Mowgli/Metal helps him blow up. He was so great in The Night Of, I feel like he'd crush it as a villain in the Reevesverse w/ Turturro already being there

@tmp3 - He probably would have been a really good Riddler imo, I'm a fan of Dano so I'm glad, but he could have worked. Perhaps a future Dent/Joker (I know, overplayed character suggestion, but he seems like a good counter/opposite to Pattinson i think)

@bkmeijer - Lol I'm shocked that I managed 22 new releases

@DannRamm113 - I think I might get there too, I just keep forgetting about movies I watch on Netflix and other services. Cinema is definitely not 10.

@tmp3 - you've seen Mogul Mowgli by any chance? I'm thinking about watching it, but I can't find it anywhere (atleast unless I resort to piracy, which I'm not a fan of doing)

@bkmeijer - Not yet, I just meant in terms of critical reception

@tmp3 - aha. I haven't even looked into reception, I just saw Riz Ahmed and immediately wanted to see it

Seeing Pedro Pascal's career flourishing from being in one WonderWoman to another WonderWoman is just the best tbh.
