WONDER WOMAN 1984's Gal Gadot And Other Celebs Under Fire For Cringeworthy "Imagine" Video

The view outside our windows is pretty bleak at the moment thanks to COVID-19, but some of Hollywood's biggest stars* have graced us with their presence in a cringeworthy video which sees them belt out a truly terrible take on John Lennon's "Imagine."

As our friends over at The Daily Beast put it, "To say the internet is not impressed by the car-crash attempt at soulful connection to lift the mood of the masses—particularly by the line 'Imagine no possessions'—would be an understatement." Alas, it's Wonder Woman 1984's Gal Gadot who is mostly coming under fire, despite being joined by a heap of familiar faces.

They include Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), Mark Ruffalo (Avengers: Endgame), Lynda Carter (Supergirl), Zoe Kravitz (The Batman), Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad), and Natalie Portman (Thor: The Dark World).

Gal explains that we're all in this together, and her bout of self isolation has left her feeling "philosophical." Rather than getting her celebrity pals to donate some money to those who will soon find themselves without a job, the DC Extended Universe's Wonder Woman instead decided that we all deserve to be cheered up with this tone-deaf rendition of Lennon's classic.

Who gives a damn what the internet thinks? They’ll find a way to criticize anything no matter the attention. If it anything, it just highlights the true ugliness we have in this world. In the midst of a pandemic, even when those try to lift up spirits, people will be around to tear it down regardless.

I saw some of the clips last night, and it’s very clear that those participating are doing so in solidarity. And that is what’s needed in trying times.

And I agree with @ByKnight616. This site is better than this. Don’t join in with the stupidity.
