Dark Phoenix is now in the hands of Disney, but that doesn't mean the final
X-Men movie is going to be on the same level as a release from Marvel Studios! Honestly, that was evident from the new trailer released earlier today which revealed that a) the Phoenix Force is a Galactus-style cloud and b) that it gets its name from a group of schoolkids.
Despite that, there were a lot of cool moments in this latest sneak peek which fans of the long-running franchise are bound to appreciate (if nothing else, the team's suits look pretty cool).
You may have also missed the brief appearance of the Phoenix Force in a form that will be at least somewhat familiar to comic book readers...just don't expect it to factor into the movie itself all that much! No matter how you feel about
Dark Phoenix, though, these hi-res screenshots are definitely worth checking out.
