Sorry dude. A new crew is coming in and taking over.

@TheUnworthyThor - Even Marvel doesn't know what to do with the x-men. For all we know we might get the all PC X-men with all age, gender & race swaps.

Any answer that isn't "no" is the wrong answer. Sorry, new cast, but it's time for a new-new cast.

Okay, that might've sounded somewhat harsh. I am sorry that these actors (especially the younger ones) will lose their potential big franchise roles. But...

Damn, reading that kinda makes me feel bad for the cast lol. I think once the MCU X-Men are in full swing we'll look back and appreciate (some) of the FoxMen movies more than we think we will. That being said, I can't wait to see the X-Men done properly in the MCU.

@SobecKing - History always repeats itself. So many discounted Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy after 3's poor reception, yet never realized he made the best films. The hype for the Amazing reboot with Garfield was so anticipated and yet that series is as much a disaster as the DCEU.

I think we can all appreciate every CBM, even if some of them are terrible.

@mastakilla39 - have to disagree with you on that one. The raimi movies (first two) had a good overall story, with great supporting cast, but Toby was a wooden, mute Spidey. Alfred Molina, Willem DaFoe and heck, Even J.K. Simmons (ESPECIALLY J.K.Simmons) pushes him into the background with their performances. Despite his pretty good peter portrayal, he was like a bystander in his own movie. Now Switch that around for the Amazing movies. Garfield did a Great Spider-Man, but a very uncharacteristic peter and an overall bad story with no standout supporting roles besides maybe Emma Stone. Now the current MCU Spidey is firing on all cylinders. I think people let nostalgia get to them when it comes to these and the early x-men movies: they were mediocre at best.

Apparently Alex shipp has been pitching ideas for a storm movie. 😂

Aside from a few of them (and arguably even including those few) they haven’t been doing the characters proper justice with the younger cast saga. The same can be argued for the older cast saga, so I guess we’ll call it even. Jackman is a different story, but he’s been in pretty much every damn movie.

Sometimes you have a job, and sometimes you don't. Unfortunately that's life. It's a bit of a shame this cast never got to be in a good X-Men film. At least the OG's can say that.

The smart answer is “No, they’re going to do their own thing with it. I’m looking forward to seeing it. I’ve always been a big fan of >insert Marvel series here< hopefully i’ll get to play in their sandbox one day”

Cast Charlie Hunnam as Wolverine, throw him in a costume and badabing badaboom you have comic book movie gold.

@WruceBayne - I didn't mind Hugh, but after so long I want a [frick]ing short Wolverine

Some of them are good actors, but none of them are well cast.

And Feige has proven that he will give good Fox-Marvel actors a chance playing characters they're better suited to.

I wouldn't be surprised to see McAvoy, Lawrence, or Shipp popping up in a Marvel Studios movie in a few years, potentially as pretty major characters.

(And just to preempt the inevitable, I'll just fancast as Fassbender as something boring like a cameo of the Living Tribunal or something. Anything to get him off of people's fancast lists.)

@Spock0Clock - bring in McAvoy as Logan, Fassbender as Doom and Jackman as Kraven just to mess with people
DENNISsystem
DENNISsystem - 5/24/2019, 8:21 AM
@Spock0Clock - John Berenthal as Wolverine
The Rock as Ben Grim
Joe Keery as The Human Torch
Adam Scott as Mr. Fantastic
Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Invisible Woman
Javier Bardeen as Dr. Doom
Cillian Murphy as Cyclops

The Ruins Of Sarkovia becomes New Latveria

Spock0Clock
Spock0Clock - 5/24/2019, 4:22 AM
@OmegaDaGrodd - True. Since Kinberg said "this was always going to be a conclusion" (or whatever the lie was), the journalists could easily be doing rosy resolution style questions.

"How does it feel to be reaching the end of this journey?" Shit like that.

I don't see why X-Men: Apocalypse's B plot squad wouldn't be returning.

Marvel is making a mistake by doing a total reboot. When they shot the end of Dark Phoenix they should have ended it by sending everyone back in time and using that to reboot the universe...with the same cast as much as possible!
