Odd. I'm actually super OK with this. Does this mean they will NOT use the skrulls and fudge up marvels mojo?

@Vigor - Could be Marvel stopped them from using the Skrulls.

Does this matter? This movie will never see the theaters. Let it die Fox...all if it.

Well this is possible. I really don't think that with what they're going for, they actually need the Skrulls.

@BlindWedjat - Exactly, they don't. How many movies are we into the Fox-Men?? Let's say a dozen. With nothing cosmic in 12 films, adding a cosmic layer at this point, this far into the franchise for what is likely the last movie of the Fox-Men makes no sense. Keep it on Earth as it has been; if they wanted to go cosmic, they should have done it (or hinted towards it) earlier.

@warmachinerocks - I do, as I'm really looking forward to MCU X-men, but still hope Fox's run can end on a good note with an actually good movie(not apocalypse). I want to see Dark Phoenix adapted right and I'll take whatever I can get from whoever gives it to me(unless they're a Nazi or something but that has nothing to do with this message)

Have a very strong feeling she is going to be wasted in a terrible role, in a mediocre movie for her CBM debut. That is extremely depressing, where there are so many great roles for her in the MCU and even in the DCEU whenever they decide to wake up and get their shit together.

was just re-reading the X23 run where she and Gambit face Miss Sinister. So if Chastain is her I don't agree with that albino look.

There is no way it is in Disney’s interest to shelve this movie since production has largely been paid for. Saving on post-production wouldn’t make up for the loss on Fox’s books, which Disney would the be on the hook for. They aren’t going to reboot X-men for a couple years.
