DARK PHOENIX Brazil Comic-Con Poster Teases A Battle For Jean Grey's Soul

There's a lot of intrigue surrounding Dark Phoenix. Originally set to be released in November, it was pushed back to February and then delayed again until June. The first trailer certainly got people talking but received a somewhat tepid response and most fans remain convinced that X-Men: The Last Stand writer Simon Kinberg will drop the ball on this reboot.

We'll have to wait and see on that front, but with a panel for the movie taking place at the Brazil Comic-Con, there's a very good chance that we may get another trailer or some sort of sneak peek.

For now, though, Fox has released a poster which is designed like a comic book cover and features Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Professor X (James McAvoy), and Magneto (Michael Fassbender).

It's not a bad piece of imagery but it is strange to see the studio embracing the source material in this way when that's never really been a priority in the past! Regardless, this is a good start and probably one of the better posters we've seen this year.
