The official
New Mutants Twitter page has debuted another TV spot for the Josh Boone-directed
X-Men spinoff, but this one actually features some new footage!
The 30-second promo manages to squeeze in quite a lot of action, as we see get a first look at Cannonball (Charlie Heaton) blasting through the air, more of Wolfsbane's (Maisie Williams) transformation, and Illyana (Anya Taylor-Joy) calling forth her Soulsword to do battle with the Demon Bear as Magik.

Although New Mutants fans seem to like what they've seen so far, the movie is not expected to bust any blocks when it hits theaters next month, as
early box office tracking suggests that the long-delayed film will take in between $15 and $25 million over the course of its opening weekend. There's obviously a lot of room there and these predictions will likely change in the coming weeks, but if it does end up closer to $15M, it won't bode very well for the movie.
Still, with a more modest budget than
Dark Phoenix's reported $200M, it can afford to have a softer opening.
