RUMOR: Famke Janssen Films Cameo As 'Jean Grey' In THE WOLVERINE

According to a new report, X-Men star Famke Janssen flew out to Sydney last week in order to film a cameo appearance in James Mangold's The Wolverine. Could this be leading us into Days of Future Past?! Hit the jump for details!

Well, this is interesting. According to We Got This Covered, Famke Janssen (who played 'Jean Grey/The Phoenix' in all three of 20th Century Fox's X-Men movies) recently flew over to Sidney to shoot a cameo in The Wolverine. The actress recently confirmed that she would be interested in reprising the role in Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: Days of Future Past, so it's strange that this is where she will be appearing next, especially when the James Mangold helmed film is thought to be another prequel. There's no word on how big or small a role she'll have, although the site specifically mention that it's a cameo appearance. Are you looking forward to seeing Janssen back? Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
