Yeah, right. Like when Tatiana Maslany said she won't be She-Hulk. Or when Jonathan Majors said he won't be in Loki.

Interviews regarding Marvel casting are about as reliable as the Millenium Falcon's hyperdrive.

@Drace24 - I highly doubt he's coming back. Even if he met with Feige it doesn't mean he accepted a role. Patrick Stewart met with Feige too.

I guess we really won't know until the multiverse hits the fan and something like Secret Wars happens.

@CorndogBurglar - Why would that be when Wolverine appears?

@Drace24 @CorndogBurglar - I believe that photo of Feige and Jackman was posted on the week of Richard Donnor's passing. Richard Donnor's wife was the main producer of the early X-men films therefore they all met each other during X-men (2000)'s production. Donnor was pronounced deceased on Monday, this photo was posted on Wednesday, and the public learned of Donnor's passing on Saturday/Sunday. I believe it was all just a coincidence and this photo was a tribute to when Hugh Jackman 1st met Richard Donnor and Kevin Feige on his biggest and best career move of his life.

I don't think there's anymore to that photo or hint he's going to return.

@Drace24 - Not Wolverine. That would be when Hugh Jackman appears as Wolverine, IF he ever does. I can't see the MCU casting Jackman as the MCU Wolverine. Because he doesn't want to. And because he's too old.

So if Jackman is going to appear in the MCU as Wolverine, it will he due to some multiverse shenanigans, likely Secret Wars.

@mastakilla39 - That makes a lot of sense. I really don't expect to see Jackman back at all. Not even as a one-off.

@CorndogBurglar - I thought the Ralph Boehner moment made clear that they are not interested in introducing characters this way.

@Drace24 - Oh really? The Ralph Boehner moment happened before the Multiverse was broken. And how exactly do you think Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus is going to be in Spider-Man, which has already been confirmed to pick up right after he falls in the water in Spider-Man 2. And what about all the other rumored cameos in that movie?

Drace24 - 8/16/2021, 10:01 AM
@CorndogBurglar - I don't know how that will turn out, but I was correct whenit came to Ralph Boehner and had very similar conversations with people who thought this is going to be the dawn of the FoX-Men crossovers. Conversations that are now very funny.

CorndogBurglar - 8/16/2021, 10:16 AM
@Drace24 - Right, but Ralph Boehner wasn't pulled from the multiverse. He was just a guy that lived in that town that Wanda brain washed.

And again, I'm not saying I think Jackman will reprise his role at all. Just that if he does, it wouldn't likely happen until we've got an MCU X-Men in place and when something like Secret Wars happens.

And it makes sense, considering Alfred Molina is reprising his role as Doc Ock and he even told us when his part picks up from. Which tells me that Marvel isn't worried one single bit about pulling in some people from Sony and Fox films at some point. And why wouldn't they? The multiverse is broken. Why not have some people from those movies pop up temporarily?

The Ralph Boehner thing was a little different because people were freaking out and thinking WandaVision was going to explain how mutants join the MCU and that the Fox-Men would be the MCU X-Men. I'm not saying that at all. But it only makes sense to do Secret Wars and include some variants from the Fox and Sony films.

@CorndogBurglar - Yeah, he was obviously just going to be a random dude. Whih is why it is so funny when people talked it into themself that he would be the herold of the FoX-Men crossing over into the MCU.

Just like you are doing with Hugh Jackman now. XD

@Drace24 - I'm not saying that at all lol. I'm saying IF Jackman were to reprise his role....it wouldn't be until something like Secret Wars. That's it. I've even said I don't see him doing it at all.

I'm sure there is some truth in what he said but I also believe there is more to the story than he is letting on. As I always say, time will tell.

I still think there is a chance he will be back. The multiverse and all that stuff.
Beyonder as the villain, heroes from another realities trapped on some weird planet. You don't have to introduce mutants in MCU. Just take Fox mutants from another reality, pick up the ones that we have not seen or give us new intepretation of one we did, add Wolverine to the mix.

You can make it standalone movie. Think like a Christmas Special. Where every hero and villain after their adventure is finish forget about all that happened.

I believe he won’t be the MCU Wolverine but I also don’t think he’s totally over playing the role. Maybe he’s playing the RDJR game where you act like you’re done and don’t want to do it anymore so the studio will throw stupid amounts of money at you.

There's already a mold for the hair and sideburns, so really blow the fan bases minds and cast him as Mephisto.

Didn't Jackman also say he'd consider if Wolverine was brought into the MCU and that time has come

I just want him and Deadpool to have a scene together in the MCU, but if it doesn't happen that's cool.
