Please MCU do not cast Taron Egerton as Wolverine he does not have the brawn. It needs to be Tom Hardy no ifs or buts.

@Rybaman - I think Tom Hardy is an excellent actor and would look the part, but I don't think he's great with the American accent personally, so I'm not sure he'd pull off a Canadian one. He always sounds off any time he does an American one, I think.

Someone mentioned Jon Bernthal, and though he's taller than Wolverine should be, he naturally has that gruff North American charm and is still shorter than Jackman by a couple inches.

@Fishandchips - While I agree with your point on the accent to an extent, I just think Hardy would put the work in to nail the role and he would look perfect. Seeing him in Warrior and Lawless definitely gives off Wolverine vibes! The accent could always be improved with practise lol.

Bernthal definitely has the look he’s my second choice!

@Rybaman - yeah, I think if he could get the accent down, I agree he could nail the role. Tbf, it's Marvel and they haven't let me down with their casting yet, if he did some classes to get the accent down and they cast him, I'd be stoked.

Getting the right Wolverine won't be easy but now, after Blade, i'm more optimistic than ever!
If we can have Mahershala Ali as Blade then we can also have Jon Bernthal as Logan! :)

Let's agree that it will be better to pass 10 years until new X-Men will be shown on screen, otherwise people can get bored with all these reboots.

No way Marvel make the Superman Returns mistake and try to imitate Jackman. They'll deliver a more faithful adaptation of Wolverine and the GA will be confused at first because they'll be used to Jackman's portrayal but they'll win them over because let's face it, it's Marvel.
