The 'X-Men' Don Their Classic Costumes In Awesome New X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Photos

Things are definitely changing for the X-Men, and while these new costumes may not be 100% comic-accurate, many should agree that they're an improvement over the traditional black body armor!

Well, happy Friday! It's been teased for quite a while, but now, we have our first official look, which you can view above, at the (presumably) final and relatively comic-accurate costumes we'll see our favorite X-Men don in their upcoming battle with Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac). The photo also seems to provide us with the final roster of X-Men, which consists of Professor X (James McAvoy), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), Quicksilver (Evan Peters), and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), that'll be taking on the Mutant God come this Memorial Day weekend and likely be uniting for the foreseeable future on subsequent adventures if they all make it out of this film alive. It should be noted that there are no signs of Havok (Lucas Till), Jubilee (Lana Condor), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), or Angel (Ben Hardy)... could they have joined up with Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants, or did something more sinister happen? Only time will tell.

Plus, check out another cool shot of Jean Grey & Nightcrawler!

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse features:
Director: Bryan Singer
