Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is a little over a month away from arriving in theaters, and Empire Magazine is putting the spotlight on Peyton Reed's highly anticipated threequel in its next issue.

That means we have not one, but two, cover reveals, with Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror looking every bit the formidable big bad as he stands tall in the Quantum Realm. The prevailing theory is that the villain is trapped there, with Scott Lang the only one with the necessary skills to acquire his means of escape.

We also have a zany illustrated cover that perfectly drives home the sort of craziness we can likely expect from the next Ant-Man movie.

Needless to say, Empire will likely reveal new story details and stills in the coming days, so you'll want to keep checking back here for those as we'll have them for you the second they drop. We're also hearing rumblings that tickets for the movie will go on sale this Monday, so be on the lookout for those too!

Check out these Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania covers below.

In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.

Directed by Peyton Reed, the threequel also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17.

Badass cover. Glad an actor with as much range as Majors gets to play these different variants of the character.

@ModHaterSLADE - different variants ON the cover. That’s right. From right to left, that’s Jonathan Majors, Jonathan Majors, Jonathan Majors, Jonathan Majors, and Ma-oh it’s left to right? Sorry. Well from left to right. With Jonathan Majors, also starring Jonathan Majors, introducing Jonathan Majors, special guest star Jonathan Majors, with your host, Jonathan Majors. “Who’s the big guy up top?” That’s a kaiju.

@ModHaterSLADE - let’s see I think I’m being followed by a mason jar of water, everything’s slower, not sure if that’s a bear’s head or a kid, each moment is strobing, and feels more real than the last, I forgot how to breathe and make my heart beat, I just saw my nephew in a beautiful, red and black gaming chair, and we have no such chair… let me take my meds “here drink this” (offers mason jar) 👀 (slaps jar to the ground) WHAT IS THIS? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!

I know it's just a figure of speech, but the whole multiverse is 5 people?

I am trying to come in with as little expectations as possible because I do not know alot about the comic/cartoon versions of Kang, but I really hope he can be a true conqueror and really hurt some folks.

@QuietStorm - Well, based on the trailers it kinda looks like he already conquered the Quantum Realm, and if this movie ends the way that I suspect (with Kang using Scott & Co's ability to leave the QR for himself) and he's able to enter our world ad there has the whole Multiverse that he could conquer, let's see if he's got what it takes to conquer the rest of the Multiverse (queue an 80's video montage of Kang training with "Eye of the Tiger" playing - guitar going: dun dada dun dada dun "Kang" dada dun "Kang Kang Kang" dada dun...).

@StSteven - he wants out of there, so you are right.

@StSteven - I hope the trailers are a bit misleading and all of the quantum realm stuff occurs during the first half of the film and the rest we'll see him out and about reeking a bit of havoc. Seeing Kang make an entrance like this would be pretty dope.

@RegularPoochie @QuietStorm - Yeah, I think (and this is just me piecing things together from the trailers so take that for what it's worth) that the first part of the movie (after establishing Scott's new status quo as an Avenger and a celebrity in SF (as well as Cassie's troublemaking as the trailer indicated) will include her creating that beacon which causes Kang to bring her into the QR and then the rest of the family will have to go in to find her.

Then I think that most of the rest of the movie takes place in the QR, which will give us the time to let Kang do his exposition on who he is and how he got there, so that we know this character for the rest of Phases 5 & 6, which is why I think that despite having a )somewhat) self-contained plot, this movie is really meant to set up the rest of the "Kang Dynasty" conflict for the rest of the MS (until we get to "A:SW" that is). But that makes sense as we do need a setup movie for Kang for the GA (especially when Empire just put out and issue with a cover saying "Thanos Who?" "Meet Kang". The GA is going to want to know who this dude is, so an entire movie more or less dedicated to setting up Kang (with a nice family co-plot) is a good idea.

So I think that Kang will ultimately want Scott's AM the to get out of the QR (sorry but it's Friday and I'm tired of typing things out) AND I think that by the end he'll get it and end up in our universe, which leads into "A:KD" (and obviously a lot is going to happen in between those 2 movies).

If I had to hazard a guess, I have a feeling that there's also going to be an emotional ending where Scott's going to do something like use his last "big disc" on Cassie so that so is able to escape the QR leaving him there alone, thereby losing even more time with her. Seems like the kinda way that Marvel would go. Also seems like I'm going to need to stock up on Kleen-Ex considering that I have 2 little girls of my own. Damn you, Marvel. I'm billing you for the Kleen-Ex.
