superotherside - 4/19/2012, 6:00 PM
Nope not watching it. I've heard that I think he dies in it but I don't want to be spoiled on how etc. I'm afraid I've found out too much in someways already. Still can't wait to see it! :D
NightWingNut - 4/19/2012, 6:01 PM
I mean honestly guys, you HAVE to expect Joss Whedon is GOING to kill someone you like by impaling them. Look at Serenity, Buffy, Dr. Horrible, they ALL die by being impaled. I think it's a sick fetish of his. :/
superotherside - 4/19/2012, 6:05 PM
Oh never mind. I couldn't help myself. Watched it. :)
superotherside - 4/19/2012, 6:09 PM
That was great. Didn't exactly tell me how he was killed specifically at least. Can't wait for the film! :)
superotherside - 4/19/2012, 6:12 PM
Galactus On the Thor interview I asked this about Hesmworth:

I guess he doesn't ever visit CBM? Just wondering since he didn't say he liked it. BTW I understand if you can't answer that or something. Just curious. :)

I think I know whats up but I'm not sure so I'm not reading this but....a great big THANK YOU for not putting the spoiler in the tittle and giving the big spoiler warning. Thanks and you Rock!
KingEmperor - 4/19/2012, 6:58 PM
The fact that they tagged this as MAJOR SPOILER WARNING already gave us a hint of what might happen...
REDSTORM - 4/19/2012, 6:58 PM
I enjoy spoilers and tend to not avoid them, but I hate this whole change in attitude lately where it seems to be okay to talk about spoilers even though the movie isn't out yet. It feels as if the movie's been out for months already.
PeterParker1991 - 4/19/2012, 7:00 PM
As long as he goes out fighting and its not graphic I'll be okay. Coulson is cool but he's really not that important. I'm also guessing there was another reason Maria Hill is being introduced in Avengers... to replace Coulson. Maybe, maybe not.

I'm sure the featurettes have been caught already, but just in case... And I hope Coulson returns, he's awesome
jjmeylar - 4/19/2012, 8:05 PM
I soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hope that the dead one is only an LMD. He's so awesome.
thalidomide - 4/19/2012, 8:09 PM
Seriously why are you guys insisting that he'll become Vision?
SpideyQuad - 4/19/2012, 8:10 PM
In a way I'm relieved. I was sure it was going to be Heather Potts, for contract reasons. I'm confident Agent Coulson will find his way back, à la “The Search for Spock”.

It would have been cool if he turned out to be a “Skrull” agent, but I saw an interview today from the UK where they explained why they stayed away from them. Apparently there is a few gray areas on characters that show up in dual books. Wanda and Pietro fall in that category, where Fox or Marvel can both use them in their movies. The Skrull's also fit that category, but apparently Marvel didn't want to force the issue quite yet. (That interview is up on “ain't it cool”)
KalElOdinson - 4/19/2012, 8:22 PM

BANE5000 - 4/19/2012, 9:48 PM
So how is it that Gregg is signed for mutiple Marvel movies if he dies in this one?
FireKnightRises - 4/19/2012, 10:26 PM
well there's rumor from trusted source about coulson impregnated pepper before his death until it revealed the baby is son of coul and he reborn as coulson and if that's not weird enough it revealed again coulson actually alien god from another dimension whose power rivalled odin, phoenix, galactus and whatever marvel cosmic you named it even odin will eat shit every time 'son of coul' name mentioned

coulson turned into dark coulson and become main villain of avengers 3 until chuck norris come to the rescue and save universe again all by his awesomeness
BANE5000 - 4/20/2012, 1:56 AM
jjmeylar

Im hoping thats the case and think it would be an awesome twist and surprise if the Coulson that dies is a LMD, or in fact the whole Coulson character was an LMD all along in the past films and theres actual replacement copies SHIELD has on hand. Heres some other theories of my own

If Coulson was an LMD all along, they could basically make his character in a sense be the MCU version of Vision , but they just made him in a humanized android form that is Coulson.

Maybe the extra scene they said was filmed after the premier in Los Angeles this past Tuesday will reveal that the Coulson killed was an LMD. Nick Fury is looking at the dead boy while the real Coulson walks up viewing it as well asking "So did the decoy/LMD work out as good as u thought" and Fury just looks at him with this grin on his face and the scene ends.

Smokey - 4/20/2012, 2:12 AM
An LMD would be awesome, and especially with Clark Greggs dry delivery it would be hilarious
soaponapope - 4/20/2012, 2:18 AM
