In less than one week, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice finally arrives on 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD worldwide and you'll be able to bring it home and watch it to your heart's delight. Despite the abysmal critical reception of the theatrical version, the upcoming Ultimate Cut has been better received for the most part, not a perfect film by any means, but a definite step-up from director Zack Snyder's initial offering.

Over the past couple of weeks, leading up to the home video release on July 19, photographer Clay Enos has been sharing stunning behind-the-scenes photographs and today, he's released one of his best yet - A brand new look at Ben Affleck suited up in his armored suit with the Batlight shining into the night sky, beckoning to the Son of Krypton. Check out the photo in beautiful hi-resolution below:

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

@MrAisA - Sure, he can just kick through a [frick]ing tree. This is why cartoon movies are shit.

Snyder's biggest problem is that he NEEDS source material to build his movies around.
BvS combined Dark Kinght Returns and Death of Superman... Just because...
Sucker Punch is his only movie NOT based on pre existing material. The rest are essentially music video remixes of strories that have already been told, which Snyder translates to live action.

Justice League needs a real Storyteller at the helm. Snyder should be Visual Consultant. That's his strength.

@WellDrawn - I enjoyed the movie overall, I just think if he had he casted jesse as the Riddler instead of lex it would've made more sense and the Martha scene I get but it was uncalled for

@WellDrawn - If I have to choose among the following two explanations of what happened: 1) Zack Snyder and his entire creative team (including Geoff Johns) have not resorted to the source material and/or do not know it well enough. 2) Most of the so-called fans, are simply people who have an extremely superficial and punctual knowledge of the source material, so that there is a high probability that a version that is not confined within the limits of the previous versions will finally lead them to frustration and rejection. (...) I think I choose this second explanation.
