BATMAN v SUPERMAN Or CAPTAIN AMERICA v IRON MAN - Which Are You Most Excited About? BATMAN v SUPERMAN Or CAPTAIN AMERICA v IRON MAN - Which Are You Most Excited About?

A huge piece of news landed last night when it was revealed that Robert Downey Jr. has joined the cast of Captain America 3 to kick off a big screen adaptation of Civil War. With 2016 now set to feature Captain America v Iron Man AND Batman v Superman, we have to ask...which excites more?

It's an exciting time to be a comic book fan, especially when we're getting a movie featuring Batman battling out with Superman and Captain America squaring off against Iron Man all in the same year (not to mention Deadpool and X-Men: Apocalypse among others). You can read more details about how Robert Downey Jr. will factor into Captain America 3 by clicking here, but we do know that it will set in motion a game changing storyline based on Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's critically acclaimed Civil War. With the Superhero Registration Act set to pit these two iconic heroes against each other, we're in store for a very different Marvel Cinematic Universe after 2016.

Meanwhile, DC Comics are going to pit two of their most recognisable and beloved characters against each other when the Man of Steel and Dark Knight meet for the first time on the big screen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Zack Snyder helmed movie will also set up the highly anticipated Justice League, while Wonder Woman and Aquaman are also set to appear. As we said above, it's an exciting time to be a comic book fan! So, with two huge superhero battles scheduled for 2016, which of these excites you most? Solid details on both are obviously a little vague at this early point, but it's an easy question...which superhero battle are you most looking forward to?

Batman v superman. By that time I would have seen this version of iron man in 5 movies cap in 4. I would be more excited for civil war if Marvel had the rights to all their heroes. Also I was hoping marvel would have gone in a different direction. Damn you Fox for not loaning galactus.

I'm excited for a newer take on Batman and finally seeing superman batman and Wonder Woman share the silver screen for the first time.

Personally Cap 3 because I actually have faith in the Russo Bros to make a good film. Cap 2 was an amazing film on the other hand I have no faith in Snyder and Goyer together and I really disliked Man of Steel on many levels most of them directorial and writing issues. I am not sure how I feel about Cap 3 being a Civil War film I want to see and hear more about this film. I see what BvS can become and do to make an actual DCCU but again I have absolutely no faith in Snyder and Goyer to make a good film.

The two biggest, most iconic comic book superheroes of all time in the same movie? For the very first time? Come on now.

I've already seen Captain America and Iron Man in a movie together. I will see them together again in Age of Ultron. Come on.

Cap 3 won't even be the Civil War story, it's setting up for it.

My two favorite comic book superheroes in one movie? Batman Vs Superman's got my vote.

Really... It BVS... No contest... We have never seen Superman and batman in the same movie yet... This is an event movie... Seems like marvel is trying to response to BVS with their own duel. Already seen them in Avenger together.

i just hope they make us lean towards cap's side in the film so we see tony as the bad guy. it will be interesting then if tony win's like in the comics and to see a character that many in the general audience have come to love suddenly become the bad guy.
