During an appearance on WTTG Fox 5 news while promoting his new drama, Black or White, Anthony Mackie further discussed his return as Sam Wilson, the Falcon, in the much-anticipated Captain America: Civil War. "It's so amazing to be a part of the Marvel universe," said the actor. "It's so rare that you go into a movie, and you know the movie is gonna be good. And Marvel does not settle for mediocre on any of their movies. And that is what's so great. You can go as far as you want because you know they are going to make it look good." Mackie then reiterated that he will get a new suit and a set of Falcon wings in Captain America: Civl War, given his original pair were destroyed in The Winter Soldier. "I have a brand new costume; I'm full in effect" he reassured. "I will tell you this: Cap 3 is gonna be everything you can imagine. Cap 2 was really Avengers 1.5, and Cap 3 is gonna be Avengers 3.8.." With that comment, is it safe to assume there will be even more superhero characters in the threequel, which kicks off "Phase 3" of Marvel's Cinematic Universe? Maybe, but only time will tell. Anyhow, Anthony Mackie was later asked yet again if he will someday wield Captain America's shield, to which he replied: "My thing is, I've done one of these movies. I love working with Chris [Evans], he's one of my closest friends. So, as long as it's me and Chris playing Falcon and Cap, I'm all cool with being Falcon." What do you think?

Anyone notice the Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer 2 had pretty much the same beginning sound as the Jurassic World teaser.

Can't blame the actor for touting his universe. It's what he's there to do.

@D3srow - I think it would be even cooler if it were simply called "Civil War".

You're a positive motivating force within my life, Marvel. But still... Thor 2 and Iron Man 2. I love the MCU as much as the next guy but those movies are straight up mediocre.

With that said, Civil War will be amazing.

You can say what you like about their past output, but I'm convinced Marvel has now started a winning streak from Winter Soldier that will potentially last beyond Civil War

Iron man 3 was enjoyable in movie standards. In Marvel standards it was the worst in the cinematic universe

I'm sorry, I am HIGHLY anticipating BvS, but this movie will make more money. Keep trolling on Marvel guys, it obviously maked a difference. I am SURE that Kevin Feige trembles at night with the looming thought of a internet troll hating MCU movies.
