First Look At CAPTAIN AMERICA's Real-Life 13 Ft Bronze Statue

The MCU version of Steve Rogers will be immortalized in his hometown of Brooklyn, NY (he's actually from the Lower East Side in the comics) this Summer in a 13 ft tall bronze statue in Sunset Park.

As part of Marvel's 75th Anniversary of Steve Rogers, Comicave Studios designed the bronze statue you see below, which immortalizes Chris Evans' MCU Captain America in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Sunset Park.  However, before it arrives in its permanent home, the statue is being unveiled at SDCC before going on a mini-tour of Brooklyn.

After fans take their pics with Cap at Comic-Con, the statue heads to Prospect Park on August 10.  After a special screening of Captain America: Civil War, the statue will be displayed outside the Barclays Center before making its way to Sunset Park in October.

A special, tie-in comic will also weave the statue into the fabric of Marvel continuity.  The comic will be made available at SDCC and special Captain America events in the near future.
