Nope!
LifeDayFan - 8/19/2015, 3:24 PM
This rumor is fan-fiction running out of control or...

BradyD - 8/19/2015, 3:29 PM
This theory is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.
MasterTaffer - 8/19/2015, 3:37 PM
Jared Leto and Ben Affleck are the same [frick]ing age. Were they to make the Joker a Robin, wouldn't they cast flipping younger?
DCTrinity - 8/19/2015, 3:52 PM
@JoshWilding Listen to @MasterTaffer and not people who come up with theories that make no sense whatsoever. I don't care if Robin became Joker in The Dark Knight Returns universe. Because while the DC Extended Universe may take inspirations from that story it is NOT based on it. The Joker is The Joker, Dick Grayson is Nightwing and Jason Todd will return as Red Hood.
DCTrinity - 8/19/2015, 3:53 PM
@Crabnado Nope
HackFraud - 8/19/2015, 3:56 PM
It's just plain stupid to think that.
GentlemanlyBatman - 8/19/2015, 3:58 PM
If you think yes you're an idiot. If this turns out to be true I'm going over to Marvel.
trubuh - 8/19/2015, 4:03 PM
While the theory is ridiculous, that doesn't make it any less likely to be true.
EternalSight - 8/19/2015, 4:33 PM
The Jason Todd /Red Hood story will be cool to tell in live action. But this will not be that, nor a different version of it.
NOT A CHANCE!
KindredMac - 8/19/2015, 4:56 PM
HendoD96 - 8/19/2015, 5:59 PM
OH MY GOD! STOP BRINGING UP THAT STUPID FAN THEORY IT'S NOT [frick]IUNG TRUE! ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THAT THEORY IS A DUMBASS!
DurtyTalynt - 8/19/2015, 6:28 PM
Im out
AquamanIsTheBest - 8/19/2015, 7:15 PM
The options should say:
"Of course I don't believe it, I'm not f*cking brain dead"
And that's it. That's the only option.
EternalSight - 8/19/2015, 8:22 PM
Harley thinks its the real Joker shes going after then realizes its not once she sees him at the end. Jason Todd is being played by Leto, as denoted by the "J" burnt into his face.

At the end we'll get the back story of Joker torturing Todd via flashbacks and maybe even get to see the real Joker, but my guess is, even if he is already cast, we'll only see a hand or something in order to set up the next Batman movie.

Not sure why they would do him the injustice of not making him the Red Hood, but Arkham Knight proved the idea that WB will rename characters just for the sake of confusion.

Disclaimer: i hate this. I hope this is not true but...All of the pieces unfortunately fit together to point the finger as leto being jason Todd...
ChaosLord - 8/19/2015, 8:36 PM
Zero cares.
CPBuff22 - 8/19/2015, 8:57 PM
It's WB making the movie... Batman could be reviled to be Kryptonian and I wouldn't be surprised. I hope not though.
r0gueleader - 8/19/2015, 9:51 PM
What a dumb fan theory.

0% chance.
Sunnyd - 8/19/2015, 9:52 PM
marvelspidey80 - 8/19/2015, 11:20 PM
THEY'RE THE SAME AGE, AFFLECK AND LETO!!!!!! I'M AS TIRED OF THIS THEORY AS I AM OF THOSE [frick]ING "STRAIGHT OUTTA..." PICTURES!!!!
AnimalInstinctX - 8/20/2015, 12:42 AM
It maybe true, but we need some more trailers and tv spots. Until then we are all going to be crazy and may become twisted like "The Joker".
agentmi5 - 8/20/2015, 2:04 AM
That is so retarded...
Magus - 8/20/2015, 6:47 AM
That bullet hole thing pushed me to become a believer.

This version of Joker is a lot easier to swallow when I think that he is just some douche child Robin who grew up on Little Mayne and got corrupted by the real Joker.

If this is true then I bet Batman killed Joker like the end of Killing Joke (I don't give a [frick] what you say, Batman lost his shit at the end of that comic and choked Joker to death. That is why the laughing abruptly stops at the end.)
Magus - 8/20/2015, 6:49 AM
The actos being the same age doesn't mean shit. They are actors... Do you think the cast of 90210 were actually in high school? Affleck is obviously playing older and Leto is an ageless porcelain doll. Retards.
Archangel82 - 8/20/2015, 7:33 AM
I can see how people could possibly assume that the new Joker was Jason Todd, I simply don't believe this. I know WB and DC have big plans for Batman and his future movies. If they use Jason Todd as the Joker then we will never see the Red Hood. I believe that the Robin who was killed is Jason Todd and we will eventually see Todd don the identity of the Red Hood down the road. The Red Hood is definitely a very popular character and it would be a huge wasted opportunity to not have Todd reemerge as the Red Hood.
MrSnrub - 8/20/2015, 7:36 AM
@Magus

"That bullet hole thing pushed me to become a believer."

Oh god, people actually fell for that? The guy who made it admitted that he made it ironically.
MrSnrub - 8/20/2015, 7:38 AM
Whoever believes this deserves to be ridiculed.
WeaponMental - 8/20/2015, 10:12 AM
I think they can make it work... If he's not the original Robin, Nightwing is out there somewhere. I think there's a chance that you can get the second Robin to become Joker. The real Joker is believed to be dead, but he's somewhere out there as well... He's assumed dead. The body is never found.

I think it would be a twist that people are not expecting. There have been so many versions of Batman on the big screen, this would be one that would throw people off. As long as there is STILL a Joker running around somewhere in Gotham city! The viewers would really like to see the real Joker at some point. Maybe for now just a reference to the body never being found and that he hasn't been seen in over 7 years or something.
KingCole - 8/20/2015, 1:56 PM
Are you all mental? There is absolutely no other possibility given those shoulder scars. And why would anybody be upset over this? It is absolutely brilliant. I'm only upset that I know so soon, and won't get to experience the reveal while watching the movie.
KingCole - 8/20/2015, 2:05 PM
Magus is about the only person making sense on here. MrSnrub, you're gonna feel pretty silly come this time next year.
brilaneb - 8/20/2015, 7:16 PM
All the evidence points to yes, including the joker note to Bruce Wayne taunting him for letting his family die. Seems like a great way for the old Robin to twist the knife a bit more. That plus all the other evidence makes me a believer.
Mallick - 8/21/2015, 12:40 AM
Hmmm If Ben affleck's solo films take place prior to BvS. Then Leto would be playing Robin, and the whole age difference thing wouldn't be right. I think it's clear from the trailer that, they are going the Death in the family route. Batman goes very dark after the death of Jason todd... So seems to be where he is at atm. Kid gloves are off

JokerFanHAhaHA - 8/21/2015, 10:29 AM
Except for the obvious flashback sequence with Dr. Harleen and The Joker.

and the obvious flashback sequence with Joker, Harley, and Batman.

No. The pieces don't fit. It's a stupid theory because you can't accept this portrayal of The Joker, so you try to make him the Joker but NOT the Joker.

and the J on his face standing for Jason? Really?

You DO know what letter Joker starts with, right?
