WWE Superstar Stardust Renews Rivalry With ARROW Star Stephen Amell With A Glass Of Water To The Face
Stardust invaded Stephen Amell's panel at the Dallas Comic Con today for a confrontation with his SummerSlam opponent, and things didn't go well for the Arrow star. Are we getting a rematch?
Stephen Amell wowed everyone when he took part in a tag team match at SummerSlam last year, but could a rematch against his nemesis Stardust be on the cards at this year's WrestleMania? That remains to be seen, but the duo have recently put their differences aside - well, mostly - in order to raise money for Elijah Mainville, an 8 year old WWE fan battling Stage 4 cancer (more information on his cause can be found by clicking here).
Amell and Stardust launched a t-shirt campaign during SummerSlam which raised proceeds of nearly $300,000 for Emily’s House in Toronto, so whether you're a wrestling fan or not, everything they're doing here is quite clearly for a great cause. They actually met today for the WWE Superstar to hand over Amell's Slammy award, and that's now going to be auctioned off to raise money for Elijah.
The video below is a lot of fun too, though it wraps up with the Arrow star taking to glasses of water to the face courtesy of Stardust and SmackDown announcer (and the wrestler's real life wife) Eden Stiles. Amell later took to Facebook to state: "By the way: if the dude wants a match, he knows how to get in touch with me. Anytime. Anywhere." It's on!
