Amy Adams Compares Henry Cavill To Kermit The Frog

The actress compared her new leading man in Man of Steel,to her most recent in The Muppets.

Amy Adams is starring in the new Muppets film which has earned heaps of praise from various critics. When Total Film asked her to compare her leading men from both The Muppets and Man of Steel, she had the following to say:

Henry Cavill is very Kermitty! There is a humility to Henry and that’s one of the reasons his Superman is going to be so compelling. He has this beautiful face and humble spirit and that’s really a hard combination to come upon.”


Amy's comments seem to only convince me even more that Henry Cavill is the ideal actor to play The Man of Steel.



Starring Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne, Kevin Costner and Ayelet Zorer, Man of Steel is set to hit theatres on June 14, 2013.

wow...is that all it took to further convince you? A couple of pics and a few words and we're in "EPIC, THIS IS GONNA BE THE BEST SUPERMAN EVER!" territory. Amazingly this seems so familiar with another Superman film that came out years ago and failed...hmmmmm.....

I agree, I think he's gonna be fantastic! I finally went to see Immortals a couple days ago, and it really convinced me, for all of its flaws, that he is going to make a great Superman, especially if he plays him aggressively in his fight scenes like he did Theseus...

I do not understand why so many of you are down on her. As if she's old or ugly. So she's in her 30's. I guess to many 15 year olds around here that's old but she's a far better choice than some 19 year old twit who wouldn;t even be out of college yet we're supposed to believe is a journalist.

She's hot, classy, spunky and everything Lois should be. Most of you would have some slut cast as Lois.

She's a better looking Lois in a while! The last one was a teen lois. I mean she sucked big time!! And the one in the 7o's looked like a crack head. "you got me? who's got you?"
That was was one dry mouth bitch!! So she works as a real Lois to me. Think about it. She has to be smart and aged a bit to be in the place she would be in, at the planet. Boy you kids on here crack me up.

Two thoughts: (1) Too bad she wasn't in a "Hulk" movie to compare two "green" leading men..."It ain't easy bein' green" and (2) too bad we won't see a Superman/Batman movie with Christian Bale teamed up with Cavill.
