Michael Ausiello from TVLine posted Torchwood info that Alexa Havins (All My Children) and Dichen Lachman (Dollshouse) has joined the BBC sci-fi cast.

Alexa Havins is playing a CIA Watch Analyst called Esther Katusi, that has a lot of faith in human nature and a big crush on her colleague named Rex Matheson who's played by Mekhi Phifer.

Dichen Lachman is guest starring in the first episode as a CIA agent.

Other information: Phifer (as mentioned above) is playing Rex Matheson, who is said to have a “lethal sense of humor.” As well there will be Arlene Tur from Crash thats part of the cast too, and as some know actor Bill Pullman (Independence Day) has joined up as Oswald Jones that Ausiello describes as a “dangerously clever convicted murderer who escapes his lifelong prison sentence on a technicality and quickly becomes a media sensation.”

BBC Official description:

Gwen will be shown living peacefully in Wales with husband Rhys (played by Kai Owen) and new baby Anwen when she encounters a “new, epic danger” that will “push [her] to the limit”.

Having left Earth at the conclusion of previous miniseries Children of Earth, Harkness will be drawn back to Torchwood institute by “his unstated love for Gwen”.

LEEE777 - Torchwood: The New Order World will air sometime this year on BBC One (UK) and on Starz (USA).
