Ralph McQuarrie is a conceptual art designer and illustrator. He is most famous for his work in Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and E.T. for which he won Academy Awards for. Recently some of Ralph McQuarrie's He-Man concept art was posted by director Gary Goddard. I thought that McQuarrie's Castle Grayskull design was cool looking. Sadly Goddard explains that they were on very tight budget, and because of budget they were unable to use characters like Orko and Battle Cat. Its also why the movie takes place on earth and not on Eternia.

Ooooo, I'm a massive MOTU fan, and so can say these are pretty bad.

Hate his rendition of He-Man. Really off!

If your budget is so low that you have to do it on Earth (like the first one) and have no Battle Cat, you might as well not even make the movie!
