VIDEO GAMES: The Mad Hatter and Calendar Man Revealed For Batman: Arkham City

Get your first look at The Mad Hatter and Calendar Man in Batman: Arkham City. The game is less than two weeks away from release in the US and Rocksteady is still releasing new characters for the game.

A member on ArkhamCity.co.uk has found a new villain from the highly anticipated game Batman: Arkham City in the latest episode of Playstation Network's online magazine Qore. Three minutes and thirty-nine seconds into the episode you can catch a glimpse of The Mad Hatter surrounded by a bunch of thugs wearing bunny masks.














It's likely that taking on The Mad Hatter will be one of the many side missions taking place in the game.



The Mad Hatter:

The Mad Hatter (Jervis Tetch) is a fictional supervillain and enemy of Batman in the DC Universe. He is modeled after the Hatter from Lewis Carroll's novel, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland,[1] a character often called the "Mad Hatter" in adaptations of Carroll. He made his first appearance in Batman #49 in October 1948. Throughout his comic book appearances, the Mad Hatter has been portrayed as a master criminal whose characterization has varied from that of a purely evil psychopath to a goofy mind-controlling enemy.

I knew about Bane and Calendar Man but im surprised to see Poison Ivy return in the second game.

Ive never seen a game keep adding more and more stuff like this. They sure as hell aren't holding back for a third game.

I have a very, very strong feeling that this game may just be the best, most faithful and thoroughly satisfying Batman experience ever crafted. Any fan of Batman should salute the brilliant men and women at Rocksteady who have worked so damn hard at creating this masterpiece. They care. They REALLY care. This isn't just some job for them, just some silly little comic book game to pump out and make a few bucks. All the detail, all the love and care put into EVERY FREAKING ASPECT of the game shows how much these guys get it. Look at how Batman moves, how he fights, look at his gadgets, look at the cast for the game, look at the story, the character of Gotham itself, not to mention the endless list of villains. This is truely incredible work and I'm so freaking glad this studio exists because this game looks just incredible. Well done Rocksteady.

@Zelikee1 - Completely 100% agree. I may have to go nocturnal when this game comes out and just shut myself in my room until the game is 100% completed!

The beauty of any given batman game is that fact that he never kills so no matter how many times he defeats a villian they can always come back for another round. So far I'm loving what I'm seeing here. The one thing i am wondering about and i don't know if ive missed them talking about it but no one seems to have talked about the after credits scene in Arkham city where killer croc grabs the box of Titan what's happening with that?

I'm getting a distinct Bioshock vibe from those bunny masks.

@Khris- Poison Ivy is definitely still in this. She was teased in the Arkham City comics as having taking over the central park area of the quarantined zone.

@WesleyGibson- Bane is back, but this time appears to be working side by side with Batman in some missions in an uneasy alliance, most likely to recover some blackmarket venom/titan.

@sbdc1939 theres still man bat, black mask, clayface, firefly, the ventriloquist, ras al ghul.
would be awsome to see red hood as a sub plot in sum sort of aspect in the 3rd game which we all know will happen

@Shadowfalcon, Black mask is in the game he is anounced in challege maps and his name is all over the place, as for the rest they would all be cool esp. red hood with the other two robin's in the game. But i mean how could you be mad with the cast they have already.

Just recently got batman Arkham Asylum and it is one of the best Comic Book games I have ever played, besides Ultimate Alliance. This one will be badass!

i really hope after nolan we can get a REAL GOOD BATMAN GAME hopefully based off the video game? that would be sick!
but anyway this game is going to be sick!!! and i wish Killer Croc would come back after the first game at the end where we see him grabbin the venom from the water? he clearly is alive so he shud be in this game...IF NOT...then HOPEFULLY the 3rd anf final game IF they come out with 1

I had the pleasure of having a 15 min go on this at gamefest at the Birmingham NEC, the thing that wowed me the most is that the city looks just as impressive at street level to what it does on the rooftops. Couple that with slick gameplay and ever expanding cast of heroes and viilans its safe to say that this game will be off the freakin chain!
