In 1998, a comic miniseries/graphic novel by the name of 300 began running. Following the story of King Leonidas of Sparta (and his men) as they fight the Persians down to the last man in an epic showdown, the series was adapted into a full length film directed by Zack Snyder in 2007. But before that, writer Frank Miller had the art that led to the series.

Without much further ado...

Wow that artworks sucks!

And yes, I can do better... Just stating that before someone tries to be slick and sarcastically say "Can you do better?!?"

@JULEZ13 i think that art work is just an outline for what he wanted, like a first outline of a script.

Look at the dates they list 8/72. Maybe this was something he did when he was a kid 'cause this does not look like his more recent art stuff.

yeah, this is old-school stuff. i'm not gonna stoop low and say "i can do better!" because it's clearly outline sketches that were done quickly. still a fan of FM

Yeah right. Maybe Frank's art when he was in 6th grade....He's far better than that!
GiganteRed - 4/22/2011, 10:15 PM
It just shows how far he has come. It's hard to look back at old art work. I can attest to that.
But, I give him credit, big time, for his ambition and following through, throughout his career and following his "bliss", cuz he's great now

I will stoop medium and say "I can do almost the same"
