Over at the official Transformers Facebook page, Jeff Kline - executive producer of the successful TV show Transformers: Prime - revealed that the second season won't premiere on November 28th, 2011 as previously rumored. He says that the season will debut on The Hub early 2012, perhaps late January/early February (there isn't a specific date yet). Check out what he had to say below on the FB page (click the link below to read the entire Q&A session)...

No specific date yet, but keep an eye out for more news soon. We do know it will be "early 2012." I’m hoping that means late January or early February, but the truth is that the folks making the series are often so narrow-focused—with nearly an entire season in various stages of production simultaneously—that we tend to not be as up-to-speed on scheduling or promotional agendas as you might think!

Check out Transformers: Prime Season 2 when it begins airing on The Hub sometime in early 2012.

I like how they animate Megatron's expressions. They must have stolen alot of cel sequences from the Disney archives or something. The current story is interesting but you know damn well Orion isn't going to go along with the way the decepticons do things these days.
All the human characters suck big time. They should spend the tim between now and February writing it so that they all die horribly and then focus on the characters that matter.

i have low expectations for season 2. if they double the size of the autobot's and decepticon's rosters and focus less on the humans, it may be interesting...if they model it after G1, i'll definetly tune in
