Deviantart user ninjaink created the below mash up poster for two iconic films - Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film, and George Lucas' first Star Wars film (now known as A New Hope). The poster has the layout of the classic Star Wars poster with characters from Batman included. Many thanks to G4TV for the heads up, and click the link below to check out more of ninjaink's work.

Episode IV: A New Hero is a 1989 American epic superhero opera film, written and directed by Timothy Burton. It is the first of six films released in the El Caballero de la Noche saga: two subsequent films complete the original trilogy, while a prequel trilogy completes the six-film saga. Groundbreaking in its use of special effects, unconventional editing, and superhero / gothic storytelling, the original movie is one of the most successful and influential films of all time.

Where did my comment go? Whatever happened to freedom of speech? This does NOT belong on main! I'm fed up with editors thinking they can throw any old crap on the main page! If it's news of any sort I can understand. If it's a review, I can understand. Even an editorial is understandable but one moderately decent fan made mash up picture should not be on main unless it has thumbs up.

Decent idea, poor execution. But at least the artist used the proper Batman, and not the more recent piece of crap.

For the record, I wouldn't have mained this if it was a regular news day. But since it's Sunday (aka, slow as hell with only a few articles being posted), I decided to main it.
Personally, I think it's pretty cool. But 'ey, to each their own.
