I'm totally down for this. Just no LaBeef!

I'd like a Transformers G.I. Joe crossover movie. Let Cobra and the Decepticons team up against the Auto Bots and Joes!

Transformer movies are good mindless fun. I love them. The last one was such an epic action flick, I had my jaw on the floor. Are they the best stories ever? No. Best acting? No. Best scripts? No. But why in the world would you expect that from a movie based on toys and a lame cartoon?

Ah, shit. He just called the cartoon lame! Grab my pitchfork and tar!

My favorite argument is when some of you whine about there being too many humans. Really? Giant robots at war with each other land on Earth and make it their personal battleground and you think that us humans, particularly America, where we police the world, would just sit back idly and let them destroy the damn planet? We wouldn't get involved? Like these giant robot aliens would actually have the good sense to keep their battles in deserts and shit like in that stupid cartoon? It must be fun to be that naive. Humans would die, cities would crumble, and governments would find a way to work with the good guys and use them to their advantages. Just like in the damn movies that you bitch about.

GO TRANSFORMERS 4!

Going in the GI Joe: Retaliation route could definitely work. Drop most of the human characters from the other films, focus it more on the Transformers, and don't make it two and a half hours long.
Oh, and Dinobots would be a huge bonus.

SPOILERS AHOY (For anyone who hasn't seen the 3rd one yet

Who are they going to use for a villain after what happened to Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave? They all died in a 'no way in hell can these guys come back after this' sort of way. Maybe Unicron? Starscream's ghost? Regardless, I hope we get to see Trypticon and maybe even Warpath for the Autobots 'Blayum! Zayumm!' Love that guy!

REBOOT! No more Michael Bay!

@Ripynt actually, yes, in this instance, and in all future cases involving Michael Bay in any capacity whatsoever, grif speaks for everyone. They may not know it, but they actually agree with him.
PaulRom
PaulRom - 2/13/2012, 2:14 PM
I'd love to see Unicorn in a movie. They could always go the Galvatron route as well.
AC1
AC1 - 2/13/2012, 2:18 PM
Case #1 for the Transformers Reboot - They wouldn't have to think up an explanation for Megatron's newest impossible 'revival' after a "permanent" death on screen that he could "never come back from". This time around, it'd be a new version of Megatron who hadn't died before, and hopefully wouldn't die straight off with no new ideas for a sequel and a completely unimaginative revival.

I don't like bashing but seriously? Those movies, and Michael Bay movies in general, are trash. I was so excited to see the Transformers brought to life and thought I'd be satisfied with a decent story and amazing action scenes. But I couldn't possibly imagine the actual storylines and dialogue could've do dumb. The special effects didn't let me down but the rest was so bad that it wasn't worth it. Could Hollywood stop making sequels for junk movies? Old rather see sequels for Serenity, District 9 or Kick-Ass.

Actually, Transformers 4 and 5 have been given the approval by the studio. Found that out on Superbowl Sunday. Shooting will be in Budapest.

OrganizedChaos - 2/13/2012, 3:03 PM
Please have less humans, more robot action, and no Michael Bay

Honestly if Michael Bay did the 4th movie, he would make it the running time too damn long, in the 3rd one he could have cut out all that Witwicky love crap and those stupid human comedy relief dialogue/scenes that had nothing to do with the plot, but he did have some great action scenes and Baysplosions :P

pro346 - 2/13/2012, 3:08 PM
After watching the Superbowl ad for battleship maybe berg should direct and he certainly knows how to tell a story.
mgeoff88
mgeoff88 - 2/13/2012, 3:21 PM
If Shia LaBeouf's out and Michael Bay isn't returning to direct, maybe the film franchise doesn't need to be rebooted.

Don't get me wrong, Shia LaBeouf is a good actor, but he is a huge jerk. And we need a director who is good at balancing story and action, which is why Michael Bay maybe not coming back would be just what the film franchise needs.

HoneyBadgerDontCare
HoneyBadgerDontCare - 2/13/2012, 4:05 PM
I'm down, as long as Michael 'Splosions Bay has absolutely nothing to do with the film. If he even comes within 100 metres of the set then I'm done with this franchise.

In all seriousness though, they need to find a better director, preferably one who has seen at least a few episode of The Transformers or has read any of the comics (especially the IDW ones) and new lead and just reboot this whole franchise. Actually do it right this time, i.e. don't make the Decepticons so weak that a bloke on a motorbike can take one down by shooting it in the crotch. If humans can take out Decepticons then what the hell do we even need the Autobots for?

whatever happen to the good old days of trilogies, I say reboot but I'll still watch it either way?)
BlindLemonShemp
BlindLemonShemp - 2/13/2012, 4:22 PM
wow a lot of hate for michael bay... simmer down kids. its not like anybody else singlehandedly brought Transformers back into the public eye....

would you be happier with a Woody Allen Transformers? 2 hours of mundane dialogue and no real plot?
