Speaking with MTV, Adrianne Palicki and D.J. Cotrona - who play 'Lady Jaye' and 'Flint', respectively, in the upcoming action film G.I. Joe: Retaliation - talk about the relationship between their characters, saying that it'll please the Joe fans and that it'll build up as the film progresses. "Anybody that's familiar with 'G.I. Joe,' any of the storylines, they're two very main characters and they have a pretty specific relationship between them that evolves and goes certain places," Cotrona told MTV. "I think we did it justice in the movie so I think the fans are going to be really excited."

When the film begins, Flint and Jaye will already have had history together, Palicki said. "We kind of came into it with our own storylines," she explained.

In addition, Cotrona teases how far the relationship will go. "It [starts as] a brother-sister thing, and it continues on into other places."

Also starring Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Ray Stevenson and Bruce Willis, G.I. Joe: Retaliation is set to hit theaters June 29th, later this year.
