In their article reporting about the FX network gaining the television rights to the recently released Act Of Valor, Deadline says that the network has also gained the rights for several films that have been released early this year. Among the titles that were picked up included Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance (Neveldine/Taylor's non-sequel to the 2007 film Ghost Rider), Josh Trank's found footage/superhero flick Chronicle, and Tarsem Singh's Immortals (which stars Henry 'Superman' Cavill).
In addition, FX has also gained the rights to air the fourth Underworld installment, Underworld Awakening. The network also received the rights for many other releases such as This Means War, Red Tails, Safe House and Contraband. No word on when the movies will air on the network, but expect most (if not all) of these titles to begin their airtime within the next couple years. In the meantime, you can check any of them out in theaters now.
