Watchtower Music has announced the details for Tim Burton's upcoming horror/comedy film Dark Shadows, a revival of the classic soap opera starring Johnny Depp, Evan Green and Michelle Pfieffer. Danny Elfman - who has previously worked with Burton in various films - will be composing the Dark Shadows soundtrack. In other soundtrack news, Varese Sarabande has announced the soundtrack for Battleship, a sci-fi film based on the classic board game and directed by Peter Berg. The movie stars Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Liam Neeson and Rihanna. Steve Jablonsky - who has previously worked on other Hasbro-based films in the Transformers trilogy - will be composing Battleship. Best effects of any of the big movies releasing this year....going by the trailer much better than the vfx in the avengers which are still really good.

The helicarrier looks like CGI...the ships in battleship don't.

Rick rubin is a badass producer; he produced lots of good stuff from great singers and band ( like Linkin park, Run dmc, Slayer, Slipknot, Shakira and of course Adele). And now he is even producing a song to battleship, wow...this must be a joke, right?
