While promoting the DVD/Blu-Ray release of The Woman In Black in an interview with Collider, former Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is asked about his thoughts on the growing popularity of comic book movies, as well as if there was a character he would like to play. His answer may surprise you.
"Yeah, absolutely. I dunno who’s left, I mean a lot of comic books have...they’ve all been done. I don’t think anyone’s done The Flash yet, and that’s one I’d probably have a go at. Other then that, I’m not sure which comic book heroes are left.
Warner Bros. has been developing a Flash movie off and on over the years. Last we heard, the studio had a "solid script". However, after the non-success of Green Lantern last year, many are not expecting WB to actively pursue many other DC characters beyond Batman or Superman.
As for whether or not Radcliffe should play The Flash, I'm personally not fond of the idea. If WB decides to move forward with an adaptation, though, it wouldn't be hard to see them be interested in casting Radcliffe (considering they previously worked with him on the Harry Potter franchise). But would you like to see Radcliffe play The Flash?
